DBF Recovery is a small but useful tool that allows you to recover databases with DBF and DBC format. You can recover a single file or recover all the dbf files stored in a folder.
To recover a single file you first need to browse your computer and select the source file. Then, you select the output file - the output file will have the dbf extension. Next, you hit the Start button to begin the recovery process. After pressing the Start button, the program will analyze the database information and will show the recoverable records on a window. Each field will be shown in a column. You can adjust the width of each column to view the information contained in it. You can press the "Fields" button to view the fields’ information (name of each field, type or record, and size). Finally, you need to hit the "Get Fixed file" to generate the Dbf file.
To recover all the dbf files stored in a folder you just need to select the source folder, select the output folder, and start the recovering process.
Besides recovering the database information, the program can perform other actions: it can pack a database, recover deleted records, delete records with invalid memo, delete empty records, and delete duplicated records.
